The goal of this work is to make real-time dashboards smarter and more cost-efficient by: Refreshing only when new data is ingested in the underlying sources, using lightweight detection queries based on ingestion_time(). Reducing redundant queries and system load while ensuring users always see up-to-date insights when they open or monitor a dashboard. Providing a seamless fallback for data sources/tables that do not support ingestion_time().
